Privacy Policy

TeenDriving.org strives to offer its visitors the many advantages of Internet technology and to provide an interactive and personalized experience. We may use Personally Identifiable Information (your name, e-mail address, street address, telephone number) subject to the terms of this privacy policy.

The TeenDriving site requires users to provide personal information such as contact information about the registrant (i.e. guardian/parent/adult)   such as name, address, child’s name, school attending as well as additional information related to the vehicle driver information (i.e. car type, license #, make, model, etc.). The additional information is not required to become registered on TeenDriving.org, but many members choose to provide the information so that any incident reports that may be filed on behalf of their registered vehicle/teen is accurate and not mistaken for another vehicle.  TeenDriving uses the information in three ways: 1. At the member’s permission, we cross reference any incident filings with the information to inform persons of reports against their registered drivers; 2. We may from time to time contact users for feedback and surveys; 3.) We periodically send out a TeenDriving.org Newsletter to those that opt to receive it.

From time to time, TeenDriving will present members with information via email. Except as otherwise stated, TeenDriving will not knowingly share your individual information with third parties without your authorization or consent.

TeenDriving uses profile data collected through the registration process described above, and through voluntary actions of registered users of the TeenDriving service, consisting of demographic information and driver/vehicle information to provide members with accurate reports against their drivers.  The registration allows us to provide users with specific content based on their indicated vehicle and driver type.   Users may provide as much or as little information as they choose. However, the omission of certain information may limit the value of the TeenDriving experience for the member.

From time-to-time our service requests information from users via surveys.   Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information.  Information requested in surveys or polls may be related to communication tips, driving tips, and/or other topics related to this site. Contact information will be used to notify the Parent/Adult/Guardian of any incident reports filed against them. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of our service.

TeenDriving provides reports to the parents/adults/guardians with which have registered drivers. These reports include specific driving related information about our registered drivers.
